Welcome to our shop! Hi, my name is Aisha, the founder of North Side Girls and the person behind this one-woman operation creating beautifully handwoven textiles and designing fun home décor and apparel.



Founded in 2019 in Edmonton, AB, Canada where I, alongside my sister, learned to weave from our aunt. Fast forward a few years and hundreds of woven tea towels later, I moved to Spartanburg, South Carolina taking my big floor loom with me.


Every woven piece has hundreds if not thousands of threads, and every single thread will pass through my hands multiple times in their journey to become it's final form. Weaving is a slow and meticulous process but all the time spent creating something new by hand will always be worth it. With an eye for detail and a love color, each piece is finished with a quality I am proud of.
